"DAILY BUBBLE!!!!!!!"
I'm not sure why YouTube auto-played Goodbye World after The Black Cat...Nor why I kept watching...Even tho it started out awful...& Remained awful for all 100 minutes of the runtime...
So awful.
In part bc it clearly thinks very highly of itself. As if awful isn't bad enough, try pompously piddling.
& Besides looking like a movie - THO IT DEF DOES NOT LOOK LIKE THE MOVIE IN THE POSTER - Goodbye World has only one redeemable quality I can think of...& Yet - I didn't hate it 😂
This happens sometimes, I s'pose; though I could only think of one example at the time...& Yep, you guessed it.I turned on that other awful movie right after this one ended.
To Be Continued...
📲📲
PS: the obviously un-awful part is Gaby Hoffmann -

Maybe we just don’t need to make movies anymore.

This film was highly boring, it was not awful by a technical stand point it was just boring, the cast were good but didn't open up more to the film and what it was trying to achieve.

A literal pile of shit—like some sort of nether worldly stew of uncomfortable acting, annoying characters, bad music and general terribleness brewed by Satan himself. The best descriptive phrase for Goodbye World that I can come up with is that it feels like a mumblecore movie—ugh—made for the Lifetime Channel—double ugh—but interpreted by pretentious hipsters as being something really profound—triple ugh—so not only is it stupid and boring, but stupid and boring with a point.
I keep forgetting that I have the ability to simply turn movies off.

Review by Kevin Cormier ★★★
Post apocalyptic movies are a dime a dozen these days. This one stands out as a bit different, this one focuses on a group of friends getting together at a cottage as the world begins to unravel. So we don’t know what’s going on with the world just something, making the viewer just as in the dark as the characters. Very well acted with a very good ensemble cast as their relationships change with the events unfolding. Adrian Grenier, Ben Mackenzie, Kid Cudi, McKenna Grace and Kerry Bishe star.

I feel like the story was written by a bunch of white people in their 30s during like a game night or something.

A dystopian slice of life film. Unique prepper story. Good cast. If you have amazon prime definitely worth a watch.
That scene at the near end, when Gaby Hoffman recites George Washington’s speech... awesomeness 👏 -
